As January draws to a close, it’s estimated that more than 80% of all New Year’s resolutions will go by the wayside within the next couple of weeks. Did you make any resolutions for 2016? If you did, were they health-related? Maintaining good physical and mental health is the key to living well now and in the future. An Australian study recruited participants between the ages of 50 – 79 who took a series of cognitive tests before completing at least a year of full-time or part-time study at the University. And according to the National Retail Federation, of that nearly $19 billion, Americans spent $700 million on gifts for their pets which is roughly twice as much as they spent on Halloween costumes for their pets.
